Tea Rebellion – Kanchanjangha Noir (Black Tea)

Kanchanjangha Noir is a signature premium black tea that makes for a brisk morning drink in a deep and vibrant reddish brown infusion. Due to the high elevation of the tea bushes, the flavour is more complex than lower grown teas.

Common notes include fresh, fruity/flowery aroma and even a caramel, raisins and dark chocolate flavour (although don’t be discouraged if you can’t quite taste these first time around).

Kanchanjangha Tea Estate is located at Ranitar in the remote hilly region of Panchthar district in eastern Nepal bordering the tea area of Darjeeling at an altitude of 1300-1800m. The tea garden lies at the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga, which has rich vegetation with excellent conditions to produce aromatic teas.
